In a few words, if I had to tell you about me you would probably be safer drawing a pistol and blowing your brains out to save yourself from the boredom that encompasses my life.

So instead of empowering you with information about me, I will tell you what I feel this space will offer me as an individual and the wandering stranger who finds themselves here.

The word Confabulate according to the World English Dictionary is defined as:

vb
1. to talk together; converse; chat
2. psychiatry See also paramnesia to replace the gaps left by a disorder of the memory with imaginary remembered experiences consistently believed to be true
[C17: from Latin confābulārī, from fābulārī to talk, from fābula a story; see fable

It is this paramnesia in which I will be seeking solace, joy, comedy and tragedy through a world which lends itself to the duality of reality – where untruth lends itself closer to the truth from the minds of the many.

This is, at most, perhaps a place where I shall also part with my disclaimer.

As this is the realm of the confabulated please note as I stress the importance that irrespective of the nature of the post, story, poem,  audio, visuals and statements, although may seem believable may in fact be a fabrication from the mind of one that may pass off as deranged, crazy, frightening or just down right stupid. Please keep in mind that the intention and motives is not to cause harm but instead make you think and reflect in the world we live in today whether it be through the eyes of a character imitating the life of another, or walking through a reality which resembles ours but viewed from the perspective of smudged rose coloured glasses. This will be a world where all is written in sand and expression is but a fleeting glimpse through a moment in time. Expect contradiction, expect opinion, expect truth in lies.

I encourage a realm where all who enter and scan their eyes upon these pages feel the relief and escape of another reality not your own. Disappear and delve deep, comment with a fistful of hate or the embracing warmth of your heart. Let this be a haven for something different, something you can relate to, something you can’t relate to, something you can release to in whatever way, shape or form that release is portrayed.
